Nicomekl

I love the name of this one…Nicomekl…from the Stó:lō people, it means the route to go or the pathway. The Nicomekl River starts from a spring east of Langley and meanders west to Mud Bay near Crescent Beach. Explore this section of this long river on Langley’s Flood Plain Trail and loop the nature trails.

High Knoll Park Trails on the flats – May 2021 – the stairs have been replaced with a ramp.  Yay Langley!

Brydon Park Nature Lagoon – walk the nature trail

Pleasantdale Creek  Trail – hard packed with a few small hills

Oh yes…I love ducks…but this picture is your signpost – head south to Sendall Gardens on the trail to the right of  the duck pond then south on 201A Street

Take this bridge for Pleasantside Trail

Add in a short hop to Sendall Gardens – a small pocket garden, especially liked the statue of Ernest!

The creek has been redone and there is an amazing conservatory!
