Spring is one of my favourite cycling times of the year – there are so many places to explore and it’s fun looking for new places to ride, walk and roll.
There are new trails and active transportation improvements throughout our province – some examples include the Peachland-West Kelowna connector, Port Moody’s St. Johns MUP and the exciting Shuswap-North Okanagan Rail Trail.

For those looking to explore more in the Okanagan, check out JP Squire’s articles on Castanet.
JP writes weekly about places to explore by bike, on foot, on skis and with a kayak! Look for his posts on “Secret Okanagan Spots” in the Okanagan” – you’ll find lots to explore!
Vernon is one of my favourite destinations in the Okanagan. We enjoyed a tour of the new sections on the Grey Canal and Goldstream Ranchlands Trail, led by Ingrid Neumann of Ribbons of Green. You’ll find lots of places to explore on their website.

Let’s Go Biking has easy and fun routes for families, seniors, ebikers, and explorers of all ages who like to stop and smell the roses.
